CONMEBOL Qualifying

08/Oct/2020

Qualification from this continent remains the same with the general regional process entailing a format which four teams have a direct route to Qatar and one has an indirect route which goes via a play off, as mentioned before, Peru know all about this particular area of earning a berth for a World Cup.

In a short while as I write this piece of text, the first game will be played in the South American partition of qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

It will be contested by Paraguay and Peru. Peru was the final nation to qualify for the previous tournament in their inter-confederation play off match against New Zealand.

The second game of round one is going to be held in Montevideo, Uruguay as they face off against Chile.
