Coronavirus Pandemic 2020

World Cup qualification has been suspended for all regional competitions due to the outbreak of Cov-sars 2 (Coronavirus). There has been no football since March 2020 except three national leagues (Belarus, Nicaragua and Tajikistan).

In recent weeks, Germany got back into action with their Bundesliga competition.

World Cup qualification is on hold until it’s safe to do so and fixtures can be rescheduled.

The route to the World Cup finals has begun once again, I will be covering all of the regional qualifying processes as they happen.

In November 2022, 32 qualified teams will contest the 22nd edition of the quadrennial major footballing tournament, the ‘FIFA World Cup”. This time it’s going to be held in Qatar. It is being held during the Winter months as in the summer months when a world cup is usually placed, in Qatar the temperatures are usually really unsafely high.
